I’ve run an OpenClaw agent every day since January. Five days ago, I moved that workflow to Grok @bot. 67 real jobs later: • 40 finished without me • 14 finished after I helped • 5 were half-done • 8 failed or got cancelled • 17 needed my intervention Most of the work moved. Most of the babysitting didn’t. But I had to fix three things before I could trust it: 1. Its data-center IP was getting blocked, so I routed it through my home network with @Tailscale. 2. A bot asked to read a post accidentally published one from my account, so I built a write guard. 3. Cloud Computer updates silently removed installed tools, so I built a bootstrap that restores and verifies everything. My verdict: Grok Bot is already good enough to own research, monitoring, file-based workflows and everyday admin. It’s not ready to replace everything.
